Mary Pugh
CEO & Chief Investment Officer

Mary Pugh, CEO and Chief Investment Officer has over 30 years of institutional portfolio management and investment experience and is the founder of Pugh Capital Management, Inc. As CEO, Mary sets firm-wide strategy in consultation with her management team. As Chief Investment Officer, Mary is responsible for establishing the investment strategy and serves as the firm's chief economist.

In addition to providing leadership and vision, Mary has infused Pugh Capital with a culture based on performance, continuous improvement and knowledge building as well as a commitment to developing strong client relationships. Under her leadership, Pugh Capital's assets under management have grown from $5 million at its inception to $2 billion today.

She is a Board member of the Seattle Foundation and serves on the Executive and Investment Committees. She is also a member of the Greater Seattle Chapter of the Links and a Trustee for Seattle Academy of the Arts and Sciences. Mary graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.


Scott Greiwe, CFA
President & Senior Portfolio Manager

Scott Greiwe is the second founding principal of Pugh Capital Management, Inc. He has over 29 years of investment experience and is the Senior Portfolio Manager for the firm's Short-Term and Intermediate-Term strategies, as well as a member of the Investment Committee. Scott has lead responsibility for the mortgage, asset-backed security and commercial mortgage-backed security sectors.

Prior to joining Pugh Capital, Scott served as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at a Seattle bank. His previous responsibilities included asset/liability management as well as the analysis and trading of mortgage-backed securities. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington.


Danielle Christianson
Assistant Vice President, Marketing & Client Service

Danielle Christianson is Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Client Service for Pugh Capital and is a member of the Investment Committee. Danielle's responsibilities include client service, consultant relationship management and new business development. She has over 20 years of sales and client service experience. Prior to joining Pugh Capital, she worked for HomeStreet Bank, where she was responsible for internal client service. Danielle is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington.


Peter Cramer, CFA
Portfolio Manager

Peter Cramer is a Portfolio Manager for Pugh Capital's Core Fixed Income product and a member of the Investment Committee. He has 8 years of institutional portfolio management, quantitative modeling, trading and credit analysis experience. Peter's responsibilities include portfolio management, credit and quantitative analysis. He joined Pugh Capital from Barclays Global Investors where he was a Portfolio Manager for the US Fixed Income iShare Credit Funds and US Cash Management portfolios. Prior to working for BGI, Peter was a Credit Trading Associate for PIMCO and a Portfolio Analyst for Payden & Rygel. Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College.


Deanna Hobson
Director of Marketing and Client Service

Deanna Hobson is Director of Marketing and Client Service for Pugh Capital and is a member of the Investment Committee. Deanna's responsibilities include new business development and client and consultant relationship management. She has over 15 years of experience in the fixed income investment industry having held positions in institutional bond sales, bond origination and global fixed income operations. Prior to joining Pugh Capital, she worked for The Capital Group Companies in Los Angeles. Deanna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University.


Chris Kelley
Investment Analyst

Chris Kelley is an Investment Analyst for Pugh Capital and a member of the Investment Committee. His responsibilities include portfolio and security analysis using software tools including BondEdge, Bloomberg and Advent. Chris has several years of investment and accounting experience. He holds Series 6 and 63 and 65 licenses and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington.



Yuyan Lou, CFA
Chief Compliance Officer & Fixed Income Analyst

Yuyan Lou is the Chief Compliance Officer and a Fixed Income Analyst for Pugh Capital and is a member of the Investment Committee. Her responsibilities include credit and portfolio research, performance attribution analysis and compliance. Prior to joining Pugh Capital, Yuyan worked for Aon Investment Consulting. Her responsibilities included performance attribution, investment manager analysis and asset allocation. She was previously the assistant controller for a manufacturing company and brings a strong accounting background to her analytical work. Yuyan earned her Master of Business Administration from Willamette University and her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Shanghai University of Engineering Science.


Nancy McFadden, CFA
Senior Credit Analyst

Nancy McFadden is a Senior Credit Analyst for Pugh Capital and a member of the Investment Committee. She has over 16 years of institutional credit research experience. Nancy is responsible for trading and research coverage in the corporate credit sector including utilities and industrials. She joined Pugh Capital from Safeco Asset Management, where her duties included credit analysis, trading and portfolio management. Prior to working for Safeco Asset Management, Nancy was a Credit Analyst with GE Financial Assurance. Nancy serves on the investment committee of the YWCA of Seattle and is a member of the CFA Society of Seattle. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Seattle University and her Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University.


Steve Orr, CFA
Senior Credit Analyst

Steve Orr is a Senior Credit Analyst for Pugh Capital and a member of the Investment Committee. He has 10 years of institutional credit research experience. Steve's responsibilities include corporate bond trading and research coverage of the banking, insurance, finance and cable/media industries for the firm. Prior to joining Pugh Capital, Steve was a Credit Analyst for Edge Asset Management (formerly WM Advisors). He also worked for Bank of America for 13 years, where he spent his last 5 years underwriting commercial loans. Steve earned his Master of Business Administration from Seattle University and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.


Daniel Sand
Operations Analyst

Daniel Sand's primary responsibilities at Pugh Capital include investment accounting and trade settlement. He also does special projects in the investment and operations areas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Washington.





Bettye Stubblefield
Executive Assistant to the CEO & President

Bettye Stubblefield serves as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and President of Pugh Capital. She has over 20 years of administrative experience. Along with conventional administrative responsibilities, she also supports emergent projects. Prior to joining Pugh Capital, Bettye was employed at The Boeing Company where she was a staff analyst and worked on special assignments for the 787 program in Everett, WA.
