As Director of Credit Research, Darius is responsible for managing and cultivating Pugh Capital’s credit research resources and talent. He also has primary research coverage of Utilities, Energy and Metals & Mining. He is member of the firm’s Executive Committee and chairs the Credit Committee. Darius has more than 24 years of credit research experience. Prior to joining Pugh Capital, he was a Portfolio Manager and Credit Analyst for JP Morgan. Before JP Morgan, Darius was an Associate Analyst with Moody’s Investors Service, where he was responsible for company research and credit ratings for Energy and Media industries.
Darius holds several degrees from the University of Pennsylvania: an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business, a B.S. in Economics, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology. Darius currently sits on the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee for University Child Development School.
